2010 In Review: Travel

It’s hard to believe a year ago today I was packing to move to Philadelphia. Changing from in house design to a consultancy I knew there would be a shift in how I worked and the amount of travel in my life. It wasn’t until about six months ago that I started to realize how much travel I have actually done for work in the last twelve months. The following visualization captures all plane, train, and automobile travel for different client work during 2010. This visualization includes work spanning four clients and only includes travel to the major cities or locations. This is not inclusive of intra-city transit such as the metro, however I have rounded some of the figures to account for this data.

Enjoy. And I know that 28,490 miles is not a lot to some of you, but this figure certainly was a change for me.
